This policy explains what personal information UpLaunch collects, how we use and share it, and how you can access or correct it.
1Who we are
UpLaunch Pty Ltd (ABN 59 680 161 086) is a HubSpot partner based at Shop 2/740 Princes Highway, Sutherland NSW 2232. We work with businesses in Australia and New Zealand. This policy explains how we handle personal information under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and, for people in New Zealand, the Privacy Act 2020 (NZ).
2What we collect
We collect business contact details such as your name, job title, company, email address, phone number and website. When you work with us, we also collect information about your business, your HubSpot setup and how you work, including answers you give in our forms. When you buy online, our payment provider processes your card details. We don’t see or store full card numbers. We also collect information about how you use our website and emails, such as pages visited, form submissions and email opens.
3How we collect it
We collect information when you fill in a form on our website, use our pricing calculator, buy a pack, email or call us, book a meeting, join a session, or work with us on a project. We may also collect business contact details from publicly available sources, such as company websites and LinkedIn, and from business data providers, so we can contact businesses that may benefit from our services.
4Why we use it
We use your information to respond to enquiries, prepare estimates and proposals, deliver our services, build and send your onboarding documents, give you access to our onboarding videos, manage payments and invoices, provide support, improve our services and website, and send you updates and marketing. We use AI tools to help prepare onboarding documents from the information you give us and from your public website.
5Marketing
We may send you emails about our services, events and HubSpot updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by contacting us. Service emails about work you’ve bought from us may still be sent.
6Session recordings
With your agreement, we may record video calls and sessions so we can take accurate notes, plan your project and support you later. You can ask us not to record a session.
7Who we share it with
We share information with the service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for that purpose. These include HubSpot (our CRM, email and payments), Google Workspace (documents and email), Make (automation), our website host, Loom (videos), our meeting and call recording tools, our AI providers, and our accounting software. Our delivery team, including team members in the Philippines, and specialist contractors, including in India, access client information to deliver our services. We also share information with HubSpot where it relates to your HubSpot subscription, and with anyone you ask us to. We don’t sell personal information.
8Overseas disclosure
Some of our service providers and team members are located outside Australia and New Zealand, including in the United States, the European Union, the United Kingdom, the Philippines and India. We take reasonable steps to make sure they handle personal information in a way that is consistent with Australian and New Zealand privacy law.
9Cookies and tracking
Our website and emails use cookies and similar technology, including HubSpot tracking, to understand how people use our site, measure our marketing and remember your preferences. You can control cookies through our cookie banner and your browser settings.
10Keeping information secure
We store information in reputable cloud systems with access controls, and only give access to people who need it. We keep information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy, or as required by law, and then delete or de-identify it.
11Accessing and correcting your information
You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by emailing us. We’ll respond within a reasonable time, usually 30 days. If we can’t give you access, we’ll explain why.
12Complaints
If you have a concern about how we’ve handled your personal information, please email us first and we’ll try to resolve it. If you’re not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au) or, in New Zealand, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz).
